The MTB Hall of Fame doesn’t deserve to be in Fairfax

I'm surprised with the history of cycling in the area that the locals have not embraced the cycling community. what's also surprising is that the local cycling community have not banded together and fight the good fight. Can't be disappointed with the outcome if you never put in an effort.

That seems to be a common denominator amongst Mountain Bikers in all honesty. As a majority, we prefer to sit around and bitch, moan, and complain about how "others" take away our rights, when what we really need to do is organize and approach it from a proactive direction.

When we lose a battle (not the war) we just point and say, "See! I told you there was no way of winning!?!?!?"

Or worse yet, we show our ugliest side and cuss and swear utilizing the best of foul language with little to no substance of facts.

For a group who is willing to go out and experience and tolerate immense pain for long periods of time on the trail. We sure are shallow on tenacity to go out and fight the good fight for our cause as a majority. There are those however, who are willing to stand up as good leaders within our collective communities and do "good works" in the arena of Trail Advocacy.

Not only does this country need a good spiritual revival, it also needs a solid MTB unification and revival to go out and fight for our access rights.
