Next month I will turn 70. Day after that (fill in the blank with appropriate expletive) "lucky" day, I'm heading on my next road trip - to St. George. I will have 5 riding days, M-F, and bookend travel days. This time I decided to get some guidance, which will be a first, rather than total solo exploration and booked a guided ride one day for the St. George area at the beginning and one day for Hurricane area a couple of days later. Hopefully, with a bit of local knowledge I can then spend my other time alone riding rather than trying to figure out where and what I am doing out in the wilderness by myself.

I just returned from a week in St. George. First time I've ridden there, and one of the best mtnb trips I've ever been on. My cellphone died right before the trip and rather than using a navigation app on a new phone and first android, I booked a few days with Ride On (https://www.rideonmtb.com). It was a great decision riding with the guide and owner, James, rather than trying to navigate trails that are often poorly marked and/or confusing. In addition, I can't tell you how many times we were approached by riders who were either lost or bummed because they chose the wrong direction on a loop and were suffering on the climbs. If you have any questions about trails, feel free to send me a private message. You are going to have a blast and happy 70th!
