I been thinking about this a long time. Test this out for me and see what you get. Once it's perfect I'll publish on a website dedicated only to stem length.

Stem length = Your Age rounded UP to nearest 10 (if your age is 42, then round to 50)+ 10 if you climb more than 4K in a day for fun - 5 if you primarily shuttle or lift assist - 5 if you can do a back flip + 10 if you bike has a head angle of 70deg or more +5 for a hard tail + 1 for single speed + 5 for full suspension of 120mm or less +3 if FS 125mm or more -2 for triple clamp 200mm or more fork -2 for a full face helmet + 3 for Lycra kit +10 for a bike frame pre 2016 +2 for 29er +2 if you ride road bikes more days per year than MTB + 1 for 8deg bar sweep or more -1 for flat bar less than 8deg sweep -1 if Pink Bike active contributor -3 if ridemonkey active contributor +2 if Pink bike and ride money forums annoy you -1 if you prefer tacos over a kale salad -1 if Santa Cruz or intense -5 if you watch all the DH world cups online and cheer and yell outloud when Gwins on track +1 if you ever entered an XC race +2 if you ever entered a 24hr race -1 if Tomac was the greatest of all time

I think I need a negative 10 stem length. But why +1 if you like DH and cheer for Gwin? That should be a subtraction. We all know the shorter the stem, the more badass the rider! Length is best left for suspension!

I actually saw a girl (20 something) at Whistler with a tee shirt that said "I like 8 inches in the rear" with a picture of a DH bike. Wow! Bold.

Sorry, thread derail. Please, keep talking about stem length. Oh, if anyone cares, and I know you do, I actually run a 70mm with 6° rise.
Not on trend at all. :(

Will you please actually take the time to perform the calculator? But yes it should be -1 for Gwin fanboys
