FWIW... both Leffe and Grimbergen beers were established by Norbertine abbeys...

 

Looks like they had some $$$ to spare. Definitely the right business model.

 

Wow! $120 million.
Though things are soo expensive Recently saw that the new High School in Irvine cost $330 million to build.

 

Now you're talkin!!!! None of that IPA Sh!t. Something that was made to be consumed before traveling in the hold of a ship for 8 months. Cheers!

 

Hopefully they get the hot water situation sorted out at the new place.

I always look at restaurant closures and this week this was the only one reported. Not nearly as bad as getting shutdown for rodents or roaches.

Back on topic - A lot of interesting history behind the beer brewed at monasteries. All the way back to the 5th century, when I was an itch in my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great (insert more greats here) granddaddy’s pants.
