Thieves are not smart.....they stole a bunch of bikes they will not be able to sell. Historic/one of a kind bikes.

Seems like a lot of work and planning for the value unless there is some way to sell them back to Specialized (new term: bikenapping).

Not according to all the comments on the Pinkbike article. Why wouldn't you take bikes in boxes ready to build? Much easier to off those than a one of a kind trophy bike. The comments are always entertaining. Still sucks. The article also mentioned that on-site staff was limited due to the COVID regulations.
