SPAM Warning

I received an email, allegedly through IMTB Trails, about my request for a rear wheel 126 X 26". Of course the individual said he had one. However, the "conversation" wasn't listed in my IMTB inbox suggesting the individual was able to circumvent our system. Told Mr Faust about it, but warning you'all too.

I receive SPAM too. The scary thing about this event is that it arrived as a "normal" email (which I opened since it looked legit). Will go to the site next time.

I get "normal looking" spam all the time. That is one way that ransomware can be installed on your system. I have a policy of not opening any email that I am not expecting. Same with phone calls and texts.

Good idea and normally so do I. It's just that this seemed like a regular response to an IMTB conversation (although about a month late). Thanks, from now on I'll be more diligent.
