Guys I'm torn over this one. I really wanted to love this bike but it's just not "the one" for me. I bought it used a couple months ago and gave it the ol college try but it's time for something else. Truth is I'm just not the right rider for this bike and my balls just aren't big enough to ride it like it was meant to be.

That ain't no DHF on the back there, pardner. Looks pretty Aggressor to me!

I am sad to see anyone not like a bike he/she purchased, but especially sad when it's a Yeti. I give you props for all of the effort and the honest assessment that, for whatever reason, the bike did not bring out the best in you. I think when she fell over and cut herself, that was a sign that she was going to be rude to you. :(

Best of luck on the sale. I hope you get every penny!

Bummer...
I think when she fell over and cut herself, that was a sign that she was going to be rude to you. :(

Agree, every time I saw a post about this bike since then I myself have thought about that incident and thought it was just cursed from the beginning. I’d imagine if it were me I’d be hung up on that taboo which would potentially be in my head on rides. Maybe we should all pitch in to buy it and burn it for sacrifice! ;)

Joking aside it’s a beautiful bike and I’m sure there’s someone out there ready to step up their game with it. Good luck, Tom!

Yes Aggressor in the pics. DHF 2.5 comes with it also, just decided to try the lighter faster rolling one. Fits me better.

@herzalot and @Cornholio you boys are probably are probably correct in your assessments. To be not more than 6 miles in to the first ride and have that happen was a real pisser and a bad omen. Oh well, no excuses from me. Damage could be covered up easy enough I just don't want to hide it from anyone.

@Voodoo Tom I absolutely love my bike and this bike at the price you’re asking has me seriously contemplating giving this 9’er the old college try too. When the only thing holding you back is the fact that the water bottle cage is under the down tube instead of inside the front triangle, you know your a picky a$$ rider. Good luck with the sale. I don’t see this lasting long in the classifieds!

Lost a little dough but really happy with the outcome. Didn't just make a quick sale however sold it to somebody who I truly believe will enjoy it and will be a riding partner and tour guide soon. I'm good with that.
There's something satisfying about knowing your bike is going to be ridden and loved. It's silly to attribute human attributes to an inanimate object, but it's cool to know your bike will be "happy."
