Should there be "Thanks" on imtbtrails.com?

Should imtbtrails have "Thanks?
I tend to miss them. It let's me know that someone thought about my post.
It gives me the opportunity to "thank" a post withoug having to make a comment.

The only thing I don't like about "Thanks" is, as "A" type personalities, we start competing for "Thanks". At least I know I did...

What's your opinion?

A "thanks" and "like" button would be good. I don't think you want pages and pages of "LOL", "Lulz", "Agreed", "Yes", "thanks", etc.

A "dislike" button would be Freakin' AWESOME!!! I can be a prick with the click of a mouse.

Because F.A.D. was such an insistent deek! I have now FINALLY got "thanks" installed, and I have awarded him with the very first thanks on imtbtrails. It's the Thumbs Up Icon next to the "Quote" button. Once you click the thumbs up button, it gives a thanks and turns into a thumbs down if you want to remove your thanks.

Also, F.A.D. is ranked with 100% of all the thanks for the entire site since he has one and no one else has any. Let the THANKS Debauchery begin!!!

Just to be clear America... on imtbtrails:

1. Not everyone get's off the bench.
2. Not every team get's a trophy.
3. The fat kid rarely plays
4. It's not about how you "feel" but if you win or lose
5. 2nd place is the first loser

In other words, don't bring your thin skin to imtbtrails. It's a fun place and everyone means well. There is just often some course jesting that could be taken out of contexts. Get over it, and dish it back out, have fun!!
