Shimano ME7 shoes Size 44 ($110) (Cancelled)

Basically new, worn for one very short ride. Felt snug when I tried em on but I figured they would be ok. I was wrong and they're simply a size too small for me. New retail is 2 bones.

They are size 44 just like my other shimano shoes but these seem to run smaller. New set of cleats included.

Ride with me & get free delivery or I'll ship em to you and you can owe me a beer or two when we do ride.

Awwwww man!
We'll start the bidding...
I have last years models. Best shoes I have ever owned.
Bummer Tom.

Definitely too small for my sasquatch feet... BUT what do you think about the shoe overall? I've been eyeballing them but haven't been able to actually try a pair on or even check them out in person. AND I'm not sure their largest size will even fit me. Being sasquatch sucks sometimes.

Like I say only one very short ride on them so take it for what it's worth. I bought them sight unseen without test fitting based on the reviews of the prior model and my past experiences with Shimano shoes. They look bad ass and seem like a great shoes. The speed lace is really nice and they open up super wide to get your foot in. The sole seems very grippy and walkable. They seemed stiff under pedaling motion but have some side flex in the soles that seemed strange at first but I'm sure I'd get used to it. Kind of like you could lean over a bit more while still clipped in. Toe area seems really ventilated so may lead to some cold tootsies in the winter time but who knows. They're barely too small for me so I may end up keeping em and trying to stretch em a bit.

I have last years model but same toe area design and my toes were a little chilly this past Saturday morning. Although my toes were swollen from an arthritis flare up so that could have made them numb but I could feel a little chill.

Thinking of picking a pair of these for those colder morning starts, I have used this company's "Sweat Buster" and like it.

Curious how these fit in the shoes though, especially if they are already snug.

I've been eyeing those myself as well as the toe covers that go over the shoe like the ones pictured below. I ride in some darn cold early morning temps and my only real problem is numb toes. I could feel the air circulating thru these shoes when we rode golden eagle a couple days ago so I know cold temps are going to be an issue.

I've used those toe covers. They work but if the trail has some HAB then they kinda get chewed up.
What I do to cut down on the air circulation is duct tape the vents from inside the shoe then just wear merino wool socks. :geek:
