Where is the place to park for all the cool kids? First time going and want to spend at least half a day exploring.

thanks!!!!!

2145 N Windes Dr, Orange, CA 92869

Its $3 weekday and $5 weekday. The plus is that the parking is next to the nature center and the bathrooms are spotless.

Park at Sycamore Park off Chapman and Trails End (Opposite from the college).
I'm pretty sure parking off Sandberg is closed.
Parking at the Albertson's shopping center is not permitted but they rarely ticket (take your chances)

Enjoy Oaks!

Being a cheap skate, I usually park along side Sycamore Park (this address will find it for you 8246 E White Oak Ridge, Orange, CA 92869) and ride over.
The park has bathrooms if needed.

The downside it that it is 3/4 of a mile just to the dirt at the Irvine park entrance an then you still a mile and a half to Santiago Oaks proper.

An alternate (free) entrance is at 6517 E Mabury Ave. No bathrooms, but only a half mile along the Santiago Creek Trail to Oaks proper. The down side here is that it is on the wrong side of the park if you want to leave after coming down Chutes, resulting in a long detour back to your car.

i know you dont want to park in the park and pay $3 but its the best spot. At the bottom of all the trails and its really beautiful down there

We'll be there tomorrow 8am. parking inside Irvine Park. $5 entry fee. Join us or say hi if you see us. Look for 2 fast kids and 2 slow adults.
