Not to be morbid, but I wonder if there will be an update on actual cause of death. I know freak accidents can happen anywhere, but a fatal crash on Guadalasca by an experienced mountain biker is kind of a head scratcher, though I guess at speed even a relatively tame trail gets dangerous. The article mentioned someone guessing cardiac arrest actually caused the crash.Guad is not technical but it is torn up. It was built by that little bulldozer so it is pretty straight except at the top where the Sbacks kick in. the 1/3 lower section is an old road bed, so it is wide and friendly although grown over to a single track line. The straight section allows you to carry too much speed if you want, but there is nothing blind to get you in trouble with that speed.
