Rock Shox Pike RCT3 Solo Air A2 29" Fork (2017)

I’m looking for a non-boost 130mm 29er fork with at least 34 mm stanchions, 51mm offset, to replace a perfectly functioning non-boost 120mm 29er fork with 32mm stanchions.

... is all I can find “new.”

Thoughts?
That's a massive upgrade. If that's a 2020 Pike, it's a no brainer. I don't think it is, but it's still better than any 32 Fox product, and most 34s as well.

EDIT: I see in your thread title it's a 2017. I'm sticking with my original assessment, although I never tried a 2017 Pike. Still gonna be better than any Fox 32 and most Fox 34s. RCT3 is handy too - climb switch to calm the bob on those long fireroad climbs.

I had an X-Fusion Slant. It was meh at best. 2013-16. Not my primary fork, just a spare when my Marzocchi needed service.

Only picture I could find. Big Bear - note the FF and goggles. I used to be cool.

@Faust29 you have a "Performance" level fork right? is it poopie? I figure it'd be better than the 2013 float 120mm CTD 32 I have on there now.

My only Fox product is the Rhythm on the single speed... Which I love for the price. On the Hightower, I have the Revelation (150) that was greatly enhanced by the Luftkappe. Before the Luftkappe, it was horrible on washboard type stuff...

I have a 36 Float Performance on the Hightower. Nice fork....more so after I installed the Luftcappe.

mince price, especially if they actually ship to US.
I ordered it. Free shipping, no duty and no sales tax. Definitely gonna do the Luftkappie thingy. All this, of course, after I confirmed with my Trek guy that my 2013 frame has a lifetime warranty.

Jimmy Pratt is my contact;

he located this deal for me after he showed me the X-Fusion. He takes the switchbacks like @burt, but Jimmy is not 9 feet tall.

If you are the original owner...
I am original owner. That 69.9* head angle is gonna slacken out to 69.3* with the new fork. The old fork must be kept for when mama gets back into riding (once the baby grows and she stops breastfeeding and grandma can babysit both kids and and and... In the meantime, I will use this rig for the numerous death marches I pursue.

Thanks everyone for your input!

I got my fork yesterday...kind of.

They sent me the 2018 Fox 34 Float Performance (https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/fox-suspension-34-float-performance-forks/rp-prod196049)

...except they sent me a boost fork...which makes me wonder if they even have a non-boost version. I emailed them and am waiting for a reply.

Luckily, I got a friend who sent me a wheelset a while back that would work with this boost fork, so I may just keep it.

I mean, who returns a Boost fork for a non-Boost fork these days?
