I came across this website this morning. They are out of Portland, OR. I want one. If for no other reason, hang it on the wall as art.

I'm guessing a lot of damping...depending on the wood, of course. It would be interesting to see how they rode.
Now offered with integrated, hand-carved, herbal pipe stem.
Well, the reviewer, Ty Brookhart for Outside Magazine said on Instagram "This is one of the best mtb's I've ever ridden" and his review is here: https://www.outsideonline.com/2201906/wooden-mountain-bike-can-shred.I came across this website this morning. My first question would be how did you find us so quickkey? Are you and @wc_surveyor in cahoots?
Okay... that's two questions.

Not sure if anyone caught it, but @Ken Wheeler is of Renova Bikes.
I'm saying that on a positive note as it's nice that our forum is starting to get the attention it deserves. That's based on the all star cast that brings the charisma and fun back into a cycling forum (ummm, meaning you guys (light bulb over a smiley))
Anyway, Ken if you do come back, give us an insiders run down on your beautiful bikes...

Ha ha! No need for Google on imtbtrails.com when you are the moderator! I get an email everytime a new member joins and it includes their email address. Yours kinda matched the subject matter.Hey Mikie,
I was trying to be under cover, how'd you do that yourself? I have a friend named Google and she tells me some things I want to know and much that I don't, you can borrow her any time.
Thank you for the kind welcome. I grew up in Socal riding bikes, chasing girls and building hot rods... I have very fond memories.
Making these bikes is ridiculously difficult and it does raise the question whether we're really smart or totally stupid. We've built nearly 1000 over the last ten years and I'm still not sure how to answer that. We do continue to have fun tho and get to use some really high tech stuff to make them, which for me is mandatory because I'm not now nor have ever been a woodworker. Without computer design and big-ass machines I'd sure be doing something more profitable, but toys is toys and we do get to play. Always happy to answer questions...
