This is a scanned Photo from the Park Pre California State Challenge I'm going to guess circa 1994...
That's Eric Airheart to the left of me in his In Motion Jersey. I happen to be in my "Insane Wayne" psychedelic Jersey with matching shorts...
The bike was a Specialized M1 Metal Matrix or something like that??? Why does everything look so . . . pinkish?

I dug through some of my old photos and found this video. It is from the Summer of 2005. Much of this footage came from our first ride down Bear Creek. We had only seen the trail on a map and had no idea there were stunts on it. The other footage is from Just Outstanding.

Deep blue Alpinestars AlMega DX. 15.75" chainstays on that bad baby. Rockshox Mag 20 with strategically placed, yet tasteful, Bula sticker. Protec styrofoam helmet. Performance brand glasses. Scott shoes. Control Tech bar ends. Jackets and jersies tied around me and my bike. Oh, and hair. Looking good on the Hermosa Trail in Durango!!!

Can't find the photos of when I started Riding Mtb about 16 yrs ago.
But do have a photo of my bike in 2000!
At the time this was the Sh*t! Intense Tracer with either 80 or 100mm travel! :thumbup: . Photo was taken at Wilder Ranch in
Santa Cruz. Used to take trips more often when I was new to Riding.

I used to lust after those Tracers, along with the Turner XCE with a whole 3.7 inches of extreme travel!
I really wish I had taken photos back in the day, and tried racing at BB/Mammoth when I was riding every day.
