I personally would pick the Scott based on the looks alone and the rear triangle and geometry for the Fuji looks funky, although I cant believe they are still running the 3x system with the crankset. Good luck and happy hunting!

Which one fits you best?

The Scott is a better frame, the Fuji has a better build kit.

Don't like that the Fuji is a single pivot.

Welcome to imtbtrails!
You live in Miami... You don't need a full suspension bike...ha ha ha!

No seriously, welcome to imtbtrails...

Their both pretty close. I think most people are going to choose the Scott based on the name. The chainstay in the Fuji seems pretty long.

Can you take the bikes out to demo? It's a tough call...only you can decide.

The top XC rider in the world rides a Spark...in 650 form. If that makes a difference. :D

Why only two choices?
That was my question. Honestly, you can do better than either of those two - at least by reputation and reviews. Basically all bikes are gol-darn good these days, so you can't go wrong unless it doesn't fit you right or you just get the totally wrong bike for your needs.

If they both fit right, and they both suit your needs, either get the one with better components or get the one that, when you look at it, you can't help but want to ride.

Wow! Thanks for your replies. I'm new on this sport and I'm just looking to upgrade my bike. I do ride on trails at Markham park and I'm looking at those 2 because I got recommended based on my budget (around $1500), but if you guys have any other recommendation I will really appreciate it! Thanks again!

I had to Google Markham Park... And found lots of YouTube videos. You guys have your own homemade looking bike park, and there's no climbing. Some guys around here would like that a lot... We routinely climb a lot. I lived in Florida for quite a few years, but had gotten away from biking at that time. I can appreciate just how flat it is. In SoCal, I can't go any direction from the house without climbing a 1,000 feet in a couple miles.

Good luck on your choice... And like the others have said, I like the Scott better than the Fuji. But.. after watching the videos, there's nothing there that I wouldn't be comfortable riding on a good hardtail.
