I’m more bummed about an ever expanding fire burning up near Waldo Lake in Oregon. The area has tons of great trails I never had the opportunity to ride. For those not familiar with the area, it’s 15 miles East of Oakridge which is 45 miles East of Eugene which is in the Peoples Republic of Oregon.

I saw a fire bomber flying low from San Berdoo airport, figured nothing good was happening... :-(

I was in high school 1976-1979. I've seen plenty of discarded roaches. Even saw one start a grass fire behind the sports field at my high school.....not that I knew anything about that.

Waldo lake is the boundary of three sisters wilderness, South sister. I hiked there years ago. Climax forest with down logs everywhere, you had to stay on the trail, no xcrountry here

Perimeter map this am showed slow growth overnight, but more east, skirting the edge of snow summit and onto Fall Line and eastern end of skyline toward bear mountain. Sure am glad I rode Snow Summit, and ended it with a run down Fall Line, last week
