Charity is a good thing.
But... How could it be that this thing is legal and has never been done? Is it like being the first to "ride" Mount Whitney or Grand Teton, where having a bike along would make it a "ride," but no rider of sound mind would desire to do it?
And this odd band of guys breaking new ground on MTBs on this "unfathomable test of endurance"... Never mind the 85% success rate of the 35,000 trekkers who make summit bids yearly.
Anyone else's hype detector tingling? Call me cynical...
