MTB/EMTB potential research at LLUMC

I have some potentially fantastic research ideas, one of which potentially involves FMRI, Ebikes, pedal bikes, DOMS (Delayed Muscle Soreness, easily seen on MRI), and another project investigating intrarticular injection of diabetic medication like Metformin (NEJM article in the latest issue showing chondroregenerative properties, both systemically and anecdotally, intraarticularly....

Several residents are avid mountain bikers, and we could do the testing at SkyPark, which has the perfect ratio of climbing to descending. Any potential research subjects/participants could email me at sarandolph@llu.edu or text 909 557 0173 if they are interested.
