I alluded to this in a derail in another thread, but rather than maintain that derail, I thought I would start a new thread here. Been a while since I have been so excited about a piece of software. Yes, both my son and I have pre-ordered the grand version (or whatever they call the largest one with the most planes).

That looks better than the FS 2.0 I used to run on my xt clone back in 1987.

I have an old XP-driven laptop, upon which both CFS-2 and FS 2004 happily operate.

With a big F-U to Bill's inability to allow Windows 10 to let them run.

It was interesting to note that on Modjeska and Santiago they have the base buildings... but not the radar towers. Since the radar towers define those peaks, it didn't feel as familiar as I was hoping.

On a separate note, as I was flying around Modjeska, I noticed the fire retardant, but not the burn damage. Once you get this detailed with a flight sim, it is interesting to see the gap between "almost real" and "real".
