Moab Trails

Newbie with Hope!
I am looking fore some input on trails in Moab.

Looking to do some of the easier trails/loops in Moab, I need the wife to enjoy Moab not hate it. She has no problem riding the Fully Loop, so that level is what I am looking for. We are planning for mid March so heat should not be a problem. I am not a fan of exposure, so I have a good idea on which trails to avoid. Taking the bikes and Jeep(JK) so I need to divide the time.

Thanks,
Mike P

Are there relatively flat trails of any kind in Moab?

I'm going out to Moab for the 3rd time to do Kokopelli and I have not experienced a Moab Trail that does not have some elevation gain to it. I've never ridden the Fully Loop. My impression is that it is realtively flat (I heard maybe a 1000 feet of gain in the entire loop?).

There is however a nice paved bike path that is open to hikers, runners, and cyclists that has some really nice views of all the rock formations surounding Moab.

The Kokopelli event starts in Fruita Colorado and ends in Moab Utah by coming down the Upper and Middle Porcupine Trail. Tons of mega exposure and technical fun. It's the only trails I have ever done in Moab...

I took my wife on the practice loop at Slickrock on her Trek Antelope (fully rigid, 1.9" tires) in 1989 and she loved it. She had little experience beyond "Fully Loop" type riding prior to that. Gotta know how to use your brakes however. Admittedly, we were 26 years old at the time.

Klondike Bluffs area north of town should fit what you are looking for. A bunch of trails in that area no exposure and you can chose from green trails to black diamond trails.
Here is a picture of UFO, fun trail.

Edit: Here is a map of the area from MTB project.

Thanks BBjohn.
I should have clarified, she is fine with Climbs, she has done Blackstar, Aliso, and Chino Hills.
I just need to avoid stuff with drops and large chunk.

Check out Gemini Bridges and the Monitor and Merrimac loop. Both are easy, scenic, and can be tailored to your needs by driving as much,or as little, as you want.

Bar M trails. Can ride from town or park in dirt lot.
