Thanks for advice b4 trip...
I was bit concerned w black diamond ratings of some trails ie porcupine..mag 7...let me just say oc and san gab ridin prepares us well for any ridung..
Exposure? Nothun worse then merrills..
Chunk? Rattlesnake in el moro
If u ride most of oc ..u can ride anywhere

So we hit navajo loops .. whole enchilada and mag 7 minus lots...
Weather perfect..overcast.. bit of rain makin dirt grippy.. rock slippery.. hail.. rainbows and bit of sun to make beers taste better after ride..
Enchilada is not overrated.. it was the best fireroad downhill ever w flowy spped rock bumps..ledge jumps.. views!
Single track is twisty.. fast w jumps chunk exposure ..ledges.. rock gardens.. dirt flows...everything u want!
Rollercoasters..
My 130 n 100 travel bike almost broke...from too much whoopin n hollerin...
Kokopelli strted our ride..ups..lps... porcup...
One great hit after another
Ita like u hit chutes waterfall over n over again but all new n different w movie aet backdrop!

Smiles even when i hucked a drop and crashed in front of all my buddies...
4 rides in 4 days...
Mag 7 minus 2.. again flowy chunky single track ..just made for mtbkers..
Great signage....we did a loop and after most of the single track goodness.. climbed back up endin w gateway.. a single track uphill climb that made me shout for joy! A fun climb even herz would love...
Its like greer trail builders created all of moab..

Moab is very well made for mtbkin.. but for food options.. everything closes early.. and tourist trap vs locals...

@Mikie kidnapped us all the night before Kokopelli and we went to Eddie McStiff's for dinner... I'd go back. Laid back atmosphere, friendly, good food...

If you make it over to Hurricane, Alfredo's was the best mexican I've had in awhile... Sorry, Taco Plaza. The chile rellenos were incredible... And the portion size was enough for two people. Or enough for just me after riding for 5 days straight. :p

Whole enchilada is definitely worth while... but there is so much more.. 4 days was not enough...
the varied trails just don't compare to our OC/LA trails... its just different.. I still think SCal is the best place to ride b/c I know it all but Moab is different in a good way..
I only touched the surface..
There are whole trail systems that you can explore for days... Gemni Road area, Horsethief area.. etc ..
Almost all rideable.. the really bad sections are easy to walk... don't have to risk life to enjoy the trails..
Most are one way.. no traffic issues, even on memorial day (except in town)

Moab is good for ALL levels... views, trails, chunk, flow, drops.. you name it, it has it...
But all the featured rides are not that bad compared to our big rides here, mt Wilson/ Santa Anas...

took 11 hours w/ stops but worth it...
GET SOME!!!
