My wife says to rub some dirt in it and walk it off. This may or may not work for fractures.

For backcountry rides, bring a satellite communicator device or PLB especially if solo. With a communicator you can let someone know you'll be late or just need help, like a bail out pickup due to mechanical.

For a backcourtry ride, I like to bring an unopened tube of liquid bandage (crazy glue in a less toxic form) in a ziploc. If you get a slash it’ll help to get you out

Great ideas. I keep pain management pills in my kits - basically, stuff I saved from my knee replacements. I can highly recommend the draw-tight butterfly bandages, aka Zip Sutures.
