Ha hah!
Okay, here is an attempt at planning a ride ahead...
When:Saturday June 21st
Where: My House
Time: 8:30am Sharp
Difficulty: Expert
Number of Riders: 6-7 max
The Ride: You have Options:
1) We can do an Epic that starts out Easy and then gets kinda hard...
2) We can do an Epic that starts out real hard, hits some secret trails (singletrack hardly ever ridden) then gets kinda hard...
Details of Epic 1:
Everyone parks at my house and we get shuttled to the trailhead up in Cuddy Valley (we end, back at my house).
We start out by riding up Tecuya Road and drop down onto Salt Creek 4 wheel drive road which turns into a singletrack. Drop into the San Joaquin Valley, head East to Tecuya Creek Canyon, climb Tecuya Canyon to Digier Canyon and then drop down Digier to a paved road and roadie it back to my house for grub and Brew on my huge front porch that has an excellent view in itself...
Recap: Mostly fire roads but with Epic Views and one singletrack...
Detail of Epic 2:
Everyone parks at my house and we get shuttled to the trailhead up in Lake of the Woods (we end, back at my house).
Some of you have done this brutal start. We climb up the Lake of the Woods ALPE d'HUEZ switchbacks to the Tecuya pass, head East to the Hike-A-Bike from Hell! Then hit some sweet singletrack, then Babyhead Fire Road, make a left onto the Secret Trail, drop down to the climb up the Edison Road and then plummet for miles down, down, (bring fresh brake Pads), down, down, down into the San Joaquin Valley (the view is insane, you want to bring a camera), (this time!) we make a sharp left and climb up Tecuya Creek Canyon to Digier Canyon, drop down Digier to the pavement and roadie it back to my house for grub and brew on my huge front porch that has an excellent view in itself...This will NOT have the brutal last section some of you did last time...
WARNING: Some of this Adventure is not EXACTLY on public land
