This is not my ride, just wanted to share (in case somebody is looking for something like this)

We park at Maple and start riding down Silverado.
We can refuel at the cars at bottom of MW before heading up Maple.

Nice ride... I'm interested, but the family plans are forming with the kid home from college. Our days of having both boys together are dwindling in number. I'm not sure if the plans are forming for Saturday or Sunday... And it might change 12 times between now and then. :confused:

The elliptical is my training partner until I know for sure. :thumbsdown:
 
I'm planning on doing the same ride from the Xmas tree farm tomorrow.... Weather permitting, so I'll be around as well.

If it rains at all I may park at Trabucco, head over to Maple, up to peak and then over to Trabucco on the MD. Well... Assuming Trabucco road will be open by then.

I have to say I'm a bit panicked as I have not gotten in the long training rides for VQ I wanted due to the weather. This week I looked at the amount of long rides I did in Feb/March of 2014 and thought "ooops". :D It looks like I'm going to rely on my base from the last few years of racing to get me through it.

You are welcome to ride with us. I anticipate a larger group that will be breaking into smaller groups as we start climbing.
 
I may head up Blackstar w/ y'all.....maybe even up to Eagle, but my plans are to head back towards Sierra Peak/Coal Cyn then Oaks.

Don't wait for me. If I'm there....I'm there.
