The article I read said it was a coyote/bobcat trap. The cats are protected, so they have to be released. They said that tranq. are preferred, but they were a long ways away, so in the interest of speed and lack of suffering they did what they did.That was hard to watch, but a necessary evil. Poor cat; a traumatizing experience.
I wonder why the cat was in a leg trap to begin with. Anyway, good outcome. Solid work for just two guys with catch poles.

Am I wrong to admit I hate seeing this sh*t? It's like Facebook too, when people put up pics or stories of abused animals; I know it exists but do I have to see it??
