KOM Killer! And why delete them? Winning at any cost is where it's at, just ask Lance!

$6k, put some knobbies on the bike, pass my mediocre standing on STRAVA and jump to the top! At east on climbs.....now, where is my checkbook...
KOM, here I come. BWahahahaha

I have to hold off on my response to gain emotional composer. Leave it to Specialized to focus on cheating as a marketing tool. Typical Specialized... Sorry, but I despise them more and more.

Now we can no longer say the word "Turbo" without infringing upon the new Specialized trademark. All Porsche Turbo Drivers now have to turn in their cars, or re-badge them to say "uberschnell turbolader."

Wait - STRAVA does KOMs for climbs? I thought it only gave KOMs for the fun part of riding. Thank God, now I finally have a reason to love climbing!

I actually love love love the idea of a bunch of e-bikes destroying all of the STRAVA data. I hope they find a way to beat the KOMs down the hill by cheating too. If the data are completely blown up, and can no longer be trusted, then the asshattery of trying to set the KOMs won't carry the social media luster and swagger that currently exists, and maybe riders will ride for fun instead of blasting other trail users out of the way and turning trails into a network of veins. Dare to dream!

(Waiting for the inevitable response that STRAVA is inanimate and doesn't make people jerks, and that people were racing down hills long before STRAVA...)

I'll pre-empt it with my usual response. STRAVA is a powerful catalyst... and behavior that used to be exhibited by a few now belongs to thousands.

Carry a drone/RC plane up, attach your Phone to it with STRAVA running and fly down. KOM on descent also.
Dude; bike $6k, drone $2k, Phone $.6k, unearned KOM on STRAVA, priceless!

Sweet - they are still in stock!

I'm also going to run down the hill to the McLaren Dealer and order a matching car today!

Yeah- but I bet the McLaren bike rack is too much money... I'll just use my old steel Sears rack from 1990.

It would not surprise me if Specialized would sue companies over the use of the word Turbo, like it did to Epic designs now are revelate Designs or the classic Roubaix folly.

If any roadie from this forum (in or out the closet) has 15k laying around.... you could be the proud owner of this bike [emoji16]

Shoot, McLaren didn't have the right color to match the bike shown, but Specialized will be kind enough to make me a black and white one to match the car I just bought for my daughter...

Ok....$450 for a jacket? Please somebody explain me what is going on with this pic
Here is the link just in case any of you guys want to get it..

It's a well made ski jacket/shell that an avid skier could see as a necessary purchase. When people are deep into a hobby or have the cash to burn then items like this are commonplace. Think how silly most people who don't MTB would find paying over $400 for the cranks on your bike alone, or $2800 on a wheelset.
