The Ibis handjob on their rim brake cyclocross bikes was a pretty cool thing to me.
Sexist as hell? Yes.
When they went to disc brakes it went away.

I thought it was a joke when it popped up in my Instagram feed the other day, but there are dozens of videos showing guys riding it, and the company had a booth at Sea Otter. So much for the "bars below the saddle" idea.

Another translation - people mistakenly think they should sit upright on their bikes, or stand tall when standing to ride - like they are on an elliptical trainer!
Those with their handlebars that high should also buy a big ass comfy seat!

couple of youtube videos up about the raised reverse stem now, one on Mtb Alans channel. Seems to me something about halfway between this and a typical setup would be worth experimenting with. if he made this in a few different heights and offsets, a little less extreme, might be onto something

While he is a nice enough guy, he is very attention seeking and I wouldn't use him as any sort of expert reviewer, or impartial. I saw the one on Seth's channel, I would lean toward trusting him a little more.
But the stem is of no value to me. I have my bars at a position that feels good for me already, and I have a spacer on top.
