Spent the night in Urgent Care last night with severe back pain. I'm talking writhing in pain, back-pain. Had to get a shot of something I can't pronounce. Still have the band aid on my azz this morning  ha ha!
I'm thinking that I'm having another bout with Shingles, unlike last time where it was the back of my whole right leg, this time it's my whole lower back, down both legs to my knees. It's a deep "growing pain" kinda nerve ache... Yuk!
Shingles causes Flu like symptoms, and since Monday I've been trying to cough junk out of my lungs and have been in and out of a fever hovering around 101 degrees. So, I'm thinking Shingles.
So the Doctor gets X-Rays of my chest and back taken last night. Chest was fine. Back? Not so much. He told me I have Scoliosis of the Spine and that there is a calcification on my L4 Lumbar (Lower Vertebrae). I took a good hit there back when I raced Moto-X when I got run over by a few bikes. Got a great scar to prove it.
So now I got to go down today and get an MRI of my back. He thinks the calcification is causing the back pain. I don't think so, but I'm not a doctor.
I guess I'm just ranting. Since I have been back on a bike, there doesn't seem to have been one "healthy year" for me.
I can almost start taking this personal.
