Nah.....people would never manipulate an ebike motor or firmware to make it faster. That's just ludicrous.

So what he did is hack the zwift software on the trainer so he could get the best virtual bike...

Like hacking World of Warcraft to get better weapons...

Then he used that better bike in the competition...

At least that is how I read it ... Both brilliant and sleezy at the same time

So he still had to pedal the the stationary bike but in the virtual world He had the best equipment which gave him the edge...
