how was the wind today

Newbie with Hope!
Looking to ride and wake up to some huge santa ana's as you all see im sure. IF anyone has been out there how was it, I was thinking of going laguna or ridge park instead of santiago oaks - thinking there will be less wind near the coast today. Taking the kids to ride as well so I dont want to drag them out in 40 mile per our gale conditions. Lets here it if you have been out there

ya i rode bommer from shady canyon with my 9 year old. Climbed up that long switchback trail (i think its called quail ??) ya it was perfect, just a little cooling breeze and barely anyone out

I rode out of Shady Canyon today too. There were a few gusts and bad areas in canyons, but nothing too bad. It was a great day and the trails were EMPTY.

That seemed to be the place to ride today.

I headed out there just after noon and saw a couple of friends were already there.....and it is not a normal ride for any of them.

With that being said, the wind was only bad at first.....once over in LCWP/El Moro it wasn't an issue.
