Hey all bike demos

Intense.....call them direct and see if they are doing demo's right out of their HQ.

Pro Bike Supply....has Yeti, Ibis, Transition, Revel and the big "S" company though I bought before they started carrying Specialized so not sure what models they demo. Unless they changed their business model, PBS has the best demo program around. All their bikes are built with top of the line parts and unlike 99% of shops that give you credit towards a bike, PBS let you use that credit towards anything in the shop.

The Path used to have a decent demo fleet pre-covid. I know they have Santa Cruz, Giant, Pivot and ??? It was always changing there.

Cal Coast Cycles in North Park had Ibis demos pre-covid, not sure what else they demo.

Your best option is a ROAD TRIP......Sedona's MTB festival is March 4-6 and Hurricane's is March 25-27.

... and the one Herz and DDD have.
Herz and DDD do not have the same bike or even same manufacturer. However, I know someone with an XL Revel Rail you could demo. Try it as a 27.5 or as a mullet. I am relatively certain you are not interested in anything with 27.5 wheels at either end, but the offer stands.

Other Revel riders include @mike, @UPSed on their Rangers and a couple of others. I think someone rides a Rail and someone else has a Rascal.

Thanks Herz I may take you up on that. I am more interested in susp sys how it feels.

How do you do that? I have always rented the demo at the shop. I am obviously missing something....
Text or call if you like. Hope you are mending well. New snow the last 2 days it looks gooooood!

BTW - I've always had the best luck with factory demos run through a shop. No cost that way. Otherwise, it can get darn pricey to "rent" demos.

The Path send out email notifications and social media notifications of theirs. They are doing a Pivot demo coming up on March 13th. I wanted to try the Firebird, but they were booked fast.

Pivot also lists them on their website.

Looks like Rock-n-Road SM has the Pivot demo on 3/12 and Firebirds (except small) are still avail.

Just keep your ear to the ground or your eye on manufacturer's websites for demo events. Also, I was able to demo Yeti, Knolly and Intense simply by contacting the company and asking.

The snow looks good and is soooo tempting, but my back is not strong enough nor stable enough to give it a go. :(
