Hello .. new to Socal

Hello out there...I just moved to Manhattan Beach from Seattle. Hope to join you all for some rides. Out of shape and tired from moving and unpacking, but looking forward to getting back on the trail.
Finally got on my bike yesterday for the first time in a long time....just cruising the Strand on the singlespeed. Nice weather here :)

Uhhh :| , rumor has it there is some pretty awesome singletrack out Seattle's way.

We got our share of swoopy fast and super chunk...

Hey all, finally got my drivers license and vehicle reg sorted out after the move. Would love to get out on the trail this coming weekend Dec 27 if anyone is around. I don't really know anything about the riding areas around here, other than Santa Monica Mountains (and surrounding region) are close by and there seems to be some decent trails there. If anyone would be up for showing me around there I'd appreciate it. I guess you could describe me as a "trail rider with moderate fitness". Just looking to ride, not particular about the trail details. Not afraid of big climbs, just won't be first to the top, or second for that matter. :) Of course, the more singletrack the better.

Hey, Dave, congrats getting moved.

If you get skunked for partners up there and want to ride in Orange County, I can show you some of what you're looking for. My wife rides and we may have a guest rider, so it'll be a party.

Glad you got hooked up.

Ride-free weekends are gonna be rare for me this winter, so holler when you want to drive down and hit it. Let me what you're looking for trail-wise; something here will fill the bill and conditions are primo.
