Hello from Fullerton

Hello all,

A co-worker showed me this site and it's just what I need. I'm a life-long runner that finally had to give it up to save the knees and so I started biking. I ride a road bike 4 or 5 times a week to stay in shape and ride my mtn bike on the weekends. Just bought a used 1 yr old Giant Anthem Advanced and I love it. I have only ridden in the Fullerton Loop area but plan on expanding to other trails this summer. Look forward to checking out the rest of the site!

Welcome!!

A former runner myself, I found mtbing to be the best substitution.

I live too far away but if you ever venture to Wine Country, hit me up, we have some unreal trails here along w breweries or wineries, whatever floats your boat.

Welcome......we are rowdy, well not really.

We have riders and rides for every flavor.

Good place to start is the Ride Reports forum and the "I Rode My Bike Today" thread.

Nobody here barks, let alone bites. So be sure to join in.

Cybermarv!
Glad you can join us. Yes! You need to stretch your legs beyond the Floop...
You have found the right place my friend.

The only major injury to my knees (and had surgery for it) was a torn meniscus and yes it was from running.... never again!
Have been riding bikes for 25 years after ever since.

I'm just a little North of you, uh, Frazier Park. So like 2.5 to 3 hours ha hah! None the less I am known for coming down your way.
You got lots of good folks surrounding you on this forum that are awesome, so you are in good shape for ride buddies.

As we have grown to say a lot: Ride often, post lots!

And yes, who IS this mystery Co-Worker... inquiring minds want to know!

Howdy neighbor. I'm just south of the BP mall so the FLOOP is my go to unless I have lots a free time.

I ride my roadie a few times a week also.

Keep an eye on the trailhead forum and chime in if you want to join in.

Ride lots. Post lots. Give as good as you get!

'Sup marv. Welcome to the awesome world of inline wheelchairing, where neverwasbeens can be champions again. Don't try to tell me you miss pounding terra firma (I sure as F don't). Just think of all the sights you'll see on your spokes with yer fellow washups.

I'm in the Santa Anas foothills. Come on over for a spin, and don't wait until summer. The season is...now. Cheers!

There, ya see? The Marathon ain't the only cool thing about Boston.
