Dean Stepper is an Icon of Mountain Biking for me. Huge in the Mountain Bike Bill era of discovering and recording the details of Epic adventures near and far.
I literally got giddy when I finally met Dean on (of all places) Golden Eagle Trail in my own back yard.

Dean, Thank you for your vast knowledge of trails and trail conditions. I only hope I get to experience a portion of all the epic stuff you have ridden...

PS: I heard it's a felony in most states NOT to wish Dean a very happy birthday. Some religions say that you will be cursed with many pinch flats and over the bar experiences by NOT wishing Dean a happy birthday.... :shock:
