I'm feeling a strong pull to a new trail bike, but for storage space and domestic tranquility reasons I REALLY don't want to carry a 3rd bike for an extended amount of time. If I can get a commitment on my current bike I'll pull the trigger on the new one, and I'll do blow out pricing on this for IMTBers. Details below. Bike has just over 1K miles on it, per Strava. $2,990 for a local deal.

2021 Sentinel size Large, in Carbon Grey
X01 mechanical drivetrain (30t chainring, 170mm cranks)
Code RSC brakes
Oneup Carbon bars (trimmed to 780)
DVO Jade X coil shock with 350 lb spring
Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate 160mm fork with Charger 3 damper
I9 EN305 wheels with Hydra hubs (rear hub just serviced)
Assegai 2.5 and Dissector 2.4 tires in relatively new condition
Bike Yoke Revive 210mm dropper

Will post more detailed pics later, but here's a teaser pic.

Man, you've got it bad! N + 1 fever. Why? What could you possibly want that you don't already have? You're worse than me and surfboards.

Well, at least you can ride your toys.
Hey now. I've actually toned things down some the last few years. Currently I just have the Sentinel and the Nimble 9, and new bike would replace the Sentinel. N9 has been my only bike purchase in the last 3 years. I briefly sampled and liked the 'lectric shifty bits recently, and a SLIGHTLY less burly bike that's still basically in the same category as the Sentinel has become desirous, especially in the absence of a short travel bike. Well see if any of this actually transpires though. Selling a bike seems much easier said than done these days.

I guess I lost track. I thought you still had a Spur or a Scout or a Ranger or something of that ilk along with the Sentinel and N9. I can't wait to see what mid-travel machine is the object of your desire right now.

That's easy to do. I actually sold the Spur about a year ago, in an effort to embrace the idea of 1 bike for everything. I actually enjoy the 1-bike solution in practice more than I thought I would. Adding the single speed was completely different. Even though I've been riding the single speed the most of the time, the Sentinel, or whatever (potentially) replaces it, is my primary bike. So I don't/won't have 2 bikes. I have 1 bike and a single speed. How's that for some rationalization?
