Well, most of us ride bikes. One guy just talks about it a lot. :rolleyes: Okay, so there is actual photographic proof that he has ridden....

But anyway, welcome aboard from the flatlands of Mickey Mouse's backyard. Even if you're male you can be an 18 year old girl from Thailand. This is the interwebs, after all. :whistling:

Went riding in Bakersfield once ( a long time ago). had 12 hours to kill while the wife worked and asked the local bike shop if there was anywhere to mtb within an hours drive. Sent me to an area of desert and was chased off the land by a couple guys in a 4x. Guess they really needed to protect their tumbleweeds...haha..

They could have told me about kern river area to ride, but nooooooo.....Always an adventure!

Next time I'm there I'll hit you up!

You can ride between HWY 178 and Hart Park. At one time they were developing the area and closed off the riding area and had cops and "security" chase people off. They just did the Rock Cobbler out there and a few members did it.

Hit me up when you are out this way.
