Eric and I work at Northrop Grumman together. We took a Dale Carnegie Course one time together and we had to have ways to remember peoples names. Eric's was EZ Stacker Eric Zacher which apparently I have never forgotten.

Well, today is @erjzacher 's Birthday!

Happy Birthday bud! Great ride yesterday! Although I got the distinct impression he was NOT fond of:
:eek::eek::eek:THE WALL OF DEATH!:eek::eek::eek:

:)

The WOD is the kinda climb that builds character....lots and lots of character.

That's awesome! Did you get the dvo edition too? You have to try the wall of death on it. It's like having a 32 pound walking stick while you hike up :thumbsup:

I told you a million times to never exaggerate. My bike weighs 30.5 in an XL. It will soon weigh less as I am going to put my CCDB Inline on it. The Jade is not that impressive, and certainly not worth the weight. The Diamond - on the other hand - is fo' real! Nearly 1/2 lb heavier than its competitors, but the sus quality is special!

PS: It's your birthday, so I get to derail your thread!

I totally love the jade! I may not have much experience with what a good shock feels like but it is awesome.
Any way. My bike is just shy of 32 pounds so maybe I need to calibrate my scale or start cutting weight

I am running a carbon bar, Loaded stem and tubeless Minions. That's about 500 grams lighter than stock. Oh and the 30 t ring instead of the 32 has to be the other pound, right? ;) It'll get to the 28.5 range when I change the shock. Luckily, my Cane Creek is the proper dimensions. Perhaps I can trade for DVO's new air shock with piggyback and climb switch when it comes out!

PS - I was faster up hill on this bike at 30.5 lbs with no climb switch and a coil shock than I've been in years. Three solid days of riding on it so far. The fact that my back no longer hurts when I ride may have something to do with my uphill energy.

PSS - Thread derail complete. We should move these posts over to the Tracer 275 Pro Review thread.
