Unfortunately another rider has passed due to to an accident. The EWS in Colorado was cancelled when a racer crashed during competition.
My condolences to the family and friends of the racer. Always heartbreaking to read these.
Please, enjoy our great sport but be careful!

Wow - that's horrible. If you would have thought that someone would die of injuries from a crash in competition, you would think either Rampage or a DH. Maybe a slopestyle competition - not an Enduro race. So horrible. Props to the riders following him who tried to revive him, and condolences to the family and friends.

Whoa, damn, :wtf: Sucks to hear this news. Could happen to any of us at anytime whether racing EWS or riding at El Morro. Be careful everyone. R.I.P brother.

Definitely no bueno!
No doubt tragic to lose anyone in any sport. We train and hone our skills to do our best to be ready for most anything out there that conditions can throw at us. But the simplest thing can catch us by surprise or off guard. I'm surprised there are not more incidents during races. We wear a styrofoam lid and really no other protection. At least the DH'ers wear some protection but it makes sense and they are a sports discipline that can afford it.

Never like to hear about these things but it does bring us to a moment to recheck what we do for fun and help us to put in perspective the true danger of our sport.

Huge condolences for his loved one's and friends...
