Welcome aboard Cap'n slow. Nobody on this forum cares what pace anybody else rides. We appreciate those who are faster up, or faster down, but I think we all just appreciate being able to ride with like minded people with a mixture of personalities, proclivities and preferences.

Oh, I almost forgot: If you want to ride with Faust29, mtnbikej, Cougar, and a couple other folks, you have to sign the waiver.
But they're a great group to ride with if pain is on your itinerary.

I'm not sure that is 100% true......99.8% surely.
You said it! I'm happy to ride at any pace, because in my experience, bike people are good people.

We're a chatty bunch so hesitate not to join in the banter. I think we have every category of rider in this flock (of Seagulls) so no doubt you will enjoy. But we do have one thing in common and that's that we love bicycles and are a tight knit group.
We haze with respect if there is such a thing so have fun!

If by "group rides" you mean joining me for the rides I post that almost nobody* joins, you'll have plenty of opportunity through the cool season. Santa Anas and wherever the circuits are long and demand attention are my haunts. Having fun is my MO; speed optional. Cheers and beers...
