I am new to the direct mount chainring world.
Who are some of the BEST after market cinch chainrings? Wolftooth, one up, mrp, chromag, KA engineering? Others????

Any of the mentioned brands plus Raceface – when paired with a Raceface Cinch-style crank. The three-bolt SRAM XX1, I think, is far less secure than the RF mounting ring. I've run RF and Wolftooth DM rings with total success on a Cinch crank, but am hesitant to run a DM on XX1, having destroyed one previously.

Different offsets are available to help you get your chainline just right.

I have used Raceface, OneUp, Wolftooth, and Sram chainrings. All with good results and no complaints with most. Only thing I noticed is the Raceface seemed to wear faster than others. Sram is the direct mount I have used and currently on my bike. September 2016 issue of MBaction has a good article comparing some of the most common brands.

I've used a few different brands. I think they are all going to pretty much work the same. Some have different offsets. Narrow/wide ring tend to wear on the outside of the teeth. Mainly due to the chainline in the larger cogs.

I just installed their oval chainring this morning. Anxious to try it out.

I had the old fashioned round Wolftooth 32 tooth in 104 BCD, and it wore really well... It outlasted several of their rear cogs. Those things were like butter.
