Does anyone have a good time estimate as to when Cannell Plunge opens up for riding, or is it just a call and ask kinda thing? Im assuming its covered in snow right now. Thinking about an early/mid April run.

Depends on the snowpack. I doubt you’ll get vehicle access prior to mid May. Climbing Sherman Pass Road is an option for April access if ya wanna be bro-epic. Tho you may need a snowmobile to traverse anything over 8k.

Usually Memorial Day weekend. As mentioned it depends on the snowpack. I can ask my brother who works at the Kernville work station when it gets closer.

^^This^^....we almost always schedule our trip with 'Mountain & River Adventures' for the 1st weekend after Memorial day and haven't been shut out yet. We try to avoid the Memorial day crowds yet get up there early enough to beat the heat.

We are at 105% of normal snowpack in the Sierras and we have a stretch of rain coming late in the week and through this coming weekend which means more snow up there.
