I'll be up in Big bear this weekend and plan to sneak away from my non-cycling friends for a while on Sat. and Sun. I have one of them excited to rent a bike and give snow summit a try. But if anyone else wants to meet up and ride either Snow Summit or some of the local trails feel free to hit me up!-trinidad

Sorry man, been up there every weekend for the last month. Going to be dth this weekend. Next time you are up there hit me up and if I'm there I'll show you some fun local singles. :shock: Ah not what it sounds like I meant trails. But.........
Haven't ridden at Summit so can't comment other than usually Sundays seem to be a bit slower over there. Of course the trails probably have some wear on them from Fridays and Saturdays.
 
I had a great weekend up there. The gf booked a cabin right at the foot of summit. I rode while most of our group drank and cooked b-fast,lunch, dinner. The weather was excellent, trails were nice and the crew working at Summit was awesome.
One of my buddies rented a bike, he joined me for two runs down Westridge and then went back to the cabin, he said his quads and arms were spent. I guess sometimes we forget how demanding riding can be after years of conditioning.
