99 over 60 . . . . . ?

I went for a putt on McGill Trail today.

The trail was in good condition, temps were perfect. Had my best descent time ever.
When I was done I came home and took a shower, had some home made pizza and was getting ready to leave to do some errands and I felt light headed when I stood up. Sooooo I sat back down and took my blood pressure, 99/60.

Went online and in general found that to be on the low side of normal. Anyone else feel dizzy at that low of blood pressure?

Yes. That is pretty low if you are not on medication. I am on BP meds and when I started taking them I was prescribed too high of a dose. I would finish a ride and my BP would be 80/50. Now I am on a smaller dose and don't take it if I am doing a big ride that day.

My BP is usually in that range and I occasionally get dizzy when I stand up to fast. Mentioned it to my doc during my last physical and she sent me to heart doc who is an avid rider. Had a bunch of test and wore a monitor for day, where that day I did my normal gym routine and a good ride. Turns out doc said I was fine. Just had my over 60 colonoscopy (that was fun) and during the prep my bp was like 95 over something and resting heart rate was 33, the nurses were all concerned and after much discussion with several docs and looking at my history they realized that is just the way I am. The one nurse was a marathon runner and she has similar numbers. Bottom line is maybe that is normal for you too, what is your history?
