We all have to go at some point. All I can hope for is to leave this earth with as much class and courage as he is displaying, and to have people who will miss me.

On that note... I am supposed to go biking the next two days and I will be thinking about him as I ride and will be sending MTB vibes his way.
 
Yeah not easy to read and left my brain bouncing all over. Extremely well thought out and written. I’ve had suicide in my immediate family and that’s not at all what is happening. I’ve also had a lifelong mentor/friend and total badass suffer an injury resulting in paralysis and saw the struggle. Funny thing is Brian my paralyzed mentor was always the one checking on me and making sure I still had my head screwed on straight when I needed it. Always told me “it’s like a deck of cards, they deal em and we just gotta play em.”
