300 emails a day

Is what Raceface (Fox) is getting right now. After a week wait I was told on the phone they won't be getting to my email anytime soon. The person I spoke with answered all my emailed questions, however, so all is well.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Squeak on the phone, not email, tho.

The email form I filled out for Niterider said minimum 10 days initial turnaround. Time to escalate...

Only 300 a day for a Yuge company like that?! Heck I have friends who get 300 emails a day, every day at home.

With the bike industry booming like it is, they should be getting 3000/day.

Do they only have one person on emails?

Public agencies inbox folder is labeled "trash ". So dont expect a reply, because they'll never see it!

And by phone, call the EDD. Recording says due to high call volume we cannot take your call...click. WTF? We pay out of every check for this?

So, I know you will never believe this, but in my organization emails and phone calls are answered. Every. Single. Time.

It may not always be what the individual wants to hear, but either I'll answer the inquiry or direct it to someone who can, by forwarding with copy and not just answering "I don't know." And believe me, with what I do I get the strangest phone calls & emails. I've been there almost 20 years so I generally know who can answer it if I can't. :):cool:

I admit that public service would be way easier if it wasn't for you pesky public. :whistling:

 I was being sarcastic on the email comment, as I've had some luck with certain depts.

But seriously accurate on the EDD comment. Saw it with my wife from March thru April. 5-10 calls a day, every day, and every single one, I mean ALL of them disconnected every single time.

After a month of this I got on the 'net and found a direct line to someone there. Wasn't east to find, and kinda sneaky, but I found it. One call, a human being, and 5 min later all was good. Could have saved us so much time if they just answered it at the start.

Raceface/Fox sent me a package. Let’s guess what’s in it...

My broken Next R crank with a note explaining that it’s been used up or abused so please purchase a new one

My broken crank and a new Turbine crank with a note explaining that a metal crank is better suited to my uses

My formerly broken crank with one replacement crank arm

A completely new Next R crank

#3 sounds likely, but I could just be wishfully thinking. I’ll get the package in a couple of days.
