Tried the Beyond Taco at Del Taco. It was a full sized taco, with lots of meat and cheese, so quantity was good. Quality... I thought the flavor was ok, but texture was way off. Really runny. Sort of like a sloppy joe. But as an omnivore trying to reduce a carbon footprint, I applaud their offering it. If I want to eat meat-free at Del Taco, the deluxe half pound green burrito is still the way to go.

Yeah, I was looking forward to it, but was pretty disappointed. I'll have to try the CJ's burger, still holding out hope!

I almost got my kids these then realized that we don’t need more stuff in our kitchen.. plus, they don’t need any motivation to eat tacos. First time I ever saw them was in the Amazon ads here influenced by the taco Tuesday thread.

Mrs. Watson made me a Meatloaf Sandwich today. @SnakeCharmer would have been proud of me as it almost literally took me disengaging my lower jaw to open my mouth wide enough to take a bite from that monstrosity! I think that sandwich stood 3 inches tall!

Taco Tuesday kills? Poor guy in Fresno, 41 years old, dead after the taco-eating event.

This does not amaze me. People have died before from eating contests. I find this a whole lot more disturbing than somebody dying during a stunt:
