Yeah, yeah, yeah... Another Tapia Ride Report.
But we rode it and many others did not. In fact for a Friday afternoon the parking lot was a . . . well, parking lot!

We strolled out from the Sports Complex Center and cruised up the Fire Road to the Towers and decided to start out with Dawg Tags. That's a nice cross between "G" Out and Carl's Trail. Rode back up Kona and half way up, passed one descender. Back at the Towers we decided to do Sidewinder out and then back dropping onto "G" Out. But right before dropping on Sidewinder, either Hill^billy had the Sh!t scared outa him or he hit a nice gloppy mud puddle. NICE! We decided it was the mud puddle. I watched as mud slung everywhere accept for on me. Liken it!
Sidewinder was sweet, in fact all the trail were heeero dirt although some of the trails that pointed straight down hill had some good ruts going from the heavy rain last week.
The weather absolutely perfect, not a breeze in the air, temps were spot on for just wearing a Jersey and shorts, I'm not sure I have ever rode Tapia in nicer weather!!!
Couple of scenic shots to round out the day and we wrapped it up with a burner down Kona to Carl's trail and flew on down the Fire Road back to the Sports Complex.
I have to admit, not really so begrudgingly, that the Gravity Dropper is really working out amazingly. As I get more and more used to it. My STRAVA times just get better and better with less effort. I literally cruised Kona and Carl's Trail today and had a personal best in fact on all the descents. Nice!!!
Stopping at El Pollo Loco after saying THANKS and goodbye to Hill^Billy for a great spin. Grabbed some grub and headed home. Tapia can be a lot of fun if you don't hit it all the time! Thanks buddy for a great ride!
